Shelly BLU H&T Display ZB Device Smart Control

In your Smart Control application, tap on BLU H&T Display ZB to open its control panel. You can use the different tabs to manage the behavior of the device.

Main controls

You can use the Main controls tab to view the primary information about your Shelly device. ​

The information includes:

  • Real-time battery level, humidity, and illuminance measurements

  • Last reporter:

    • Information about the Shelly device that you selected as Bluetooth gateway (reporter); date and time of the latest reporter synchronization

    • Chart showing the minimum and maximum temperature changes for the last 24h. For more information about the available metrics, tap the chart to open the Charts tab.

    • Current temperature in the room

Notifications

You can use the ​Notifications​​ tab to view the notifications that you received on your Shelly device.

Charts

You can use the ​Charts ​​tab to view graphical representations of the key device indicators:

  • Temperature

  • Humidity

In each chart you can:

  • Filter the available information by:

    • Time period – select the time period for which you want to view the temperature or humidity information. From the drop-down choose an option, for example Last 24 hours.

    • Date - choose the specific date for which you want to view the temperature or humidity information. Use the left and right arrows to find a date.

    • View the Average, Min, and Max temperature and humidity values

  • Manage the preferred chart preview by tapping the three dots in the upper right corner of the chart.

Activity log

You can use the ​Activity log​​ tab to view the history of the events on your Shelly device.

Tap on a specific record to view the following data per event:

  • Date and time in the ​yymmdd​​ format

  • Measurements of humidity, temperature, battery level, and illuminance at the exact date and time

Application settings

Device note

In the ​Device Note​​ subtab, you can leave a short note about your Shelly device.

Device usage details

In the ​Device usage details​​ subtab, you can view in which room, channel, or dashboard the device is in use.

Device card customization

In the Device card customization subtab, you can customize the big and small parameter slots on the preview card of your Shelly device. After customization, the changes apply everywhere that you see the device in the app.

Customize device preview

  1. Tap Customize device card. There are 2 types of slots that you can configure:

    • Big Parameter Slot - choose between:

      • None

      • Parameter - from the Parameter type drop-down select the information that you want to view in the big slot, for example Temperature, Humidity, or Illuminance

    • Small Parameter Slot - you can remove or add parameters that will be displayed in the small parameter slot.

  2. Check the Preview of the device card.

  3. Tap Save to apply your changes.

Exclude from activity log

In the Exclude from activity log subtab, you can exclude events that occur on your Shelly device from the global activity log by switching the toggle.

Share

You can use the Share tab to share limited control of your device with another user of the Shelly Smart Control application.

Enter the user email address in the field and tap the Share button. The other user will have access to the following tabs:

  • Main Controls

  • Notifications

  • Charts

  • Application Settings

  • Device Information

View the list of users that already have limited control to your device. You can remove a user by clicking the delete button to the right of the email account.

Settings

You can use the Settings tab to view and change the main settings of your Shelly device, such as temperature settings, brightness threshold, firmware update, or other.

Prerequisites

By default, the fields in this tab are inactive.
To change settings, follow the steps:

  1. Press the button that is located on your Shelly device 1 time to enable setup mode.

  2. Press the button 4 times to pair your Shelly device to your mobile phone via Bluetooth.

When the pairing is successful, the fields become available for editing.

Switch to Fahrenheit

Switch the toggle to display temperature in Fahrenheit instead of Celsius.

Invert display

Switch the toggle to invert display colors (black background, white elements).

Power saver

Switch the toggle to enable battery saving mode. When the mode is enabled, the screen will not refresh in very low light conditions.

Clock synchronization

By default, the toggle is switched on, and your Shelly device receives time updates from other Shelly devices.

Switch the toggle off if you want to disable the synchronization.

Zigbee

By default, the toggle is switched on, and your Shelly device is enabled for Zigbee connection.

Switch off the toggle if you want to disable the Zigbee firmware mode.

Security

Switch the toggle to enable a secure Bluetooth connection by entering a 6-digit pass code.

Clock format

In the Clock format subtab, you can choose between 12-hour instead of 24-hour clock format to display time on your device.

Temperature offset

In the Temperature offset subtab, you can add the offset value of the difference between the room temperature and the value measured by your Shelly device. If the room temperature is higher than expected, enter a positive value. If it is lower than expected, enter a negative value. Tap the Save button to apply your changes.

Humidity offset

In the Humidity offset subtab, you can add the offset value of the difference between the humidity in the room and the value measured by your Shelly device. If the humidity in the room is higher than expected, enter a positive value. If it is lower than expected, enter a negative value. Tap the Save button to apply your changes.

Bright threshold

In the Bright threshold subtab, you can set the threshold value after which the illuminance in the room is considered bright.  

To set the brightness threshold, enter a value between 0 and 65535. Tap the Save button to apply your changes.

Dark threshold

In the Dark threshold subtab, you can set the threshold value below which the illuminance in the room is considered dark.  

Set the darkness threshold by inputting a value between 0 and 65535. Tap the Save button to apply your changes.

Firmware Version

In the Firmware Version subtab, you can view the current firmware version on your Shelly device.

Tap the Check for update button to check if new firmware update is available. If a newer firmware version is available, you can start the update by tapping the Update button.

Factory reset

Important: Factory reset will disconnect the device from your Wi-Fi network. All associated users, including you, will be removed from the device account. All previously set data will be deleted.

In the Factory reset subtab, you can reset the device to its initial factory settings by tapping the Factory Reset button.

Device information

In the Device Information tab, you can view the information about your Shelly device, such as Device ID, Device Mac, Device IP, and Device Type.

You can perform the following actions:

  • Transfer - tap the button if you want to transfer your device to another of your accounts. You can use this option if, at the time of transferring the device, you are also logged in to the other account.

  • Delete - tap the button if you want to remove the device from your account. If you want to use the device in future, you must add it to your account again.
