Short description

Shelly BLU Gateway Gen3 is a smart BLE to Wi-Fi gateway in a USB dongle. It is used to monitor and control all Shely BLE devices, including BLU TRV. It features Virtual and BT Home components, along with an external button for easier pairing.

User interface

Inputs

  • Reset button

    • Press and hold for 5 seconds to enable Device access point and Bluetooth connection.

    • Press and hold for 10 seconds to factory reset the Device.

  • Pairing button
    Press briefly to put the Device in pairing mode.

    • Blue light is on if in AP mode.

    • Red light is on if in STA mode and not connected to a Wi-Fi network.

    • Yellow light is on if in STA mode and connected to a Wi-Fi network but not connected to Shelly Cloud or Shelly Cloud disabled.

    • Green light is on if in STA mode and connected to a Wi-Fi network and to the Shelly Cloud.

    • Red/Blue light flashes alternately if OTA update is in progress.

    • Purple light flashes for 30 seconds if the Device is in pairing mode.

    • Green light flashes rapidly for 3 seconds if pairing is successful.

    • Purple light flashes rapidly for 3 seconds if pairing is not successful.
