Data generated by the connected product

The connected product is capable of generating data continuously and in real time as follows:

• Data type: The following data is accessed through a Z-Wave controller only:
  Status of outputs, power, voltage current measurements & energy consumption, internal device temperature, configuration of switch type, configuration of auto timers, configuration on state of device after power cut, overpower protections, firmware version, device model, device serial number.

• Data format: Commands in HEX format

• Estimated amount of data: 9,6 Kb to 100 Kb

Information storage

The connected product is capable of storing data on a device or a remote server.

The intended storage period is:

• On the device: Limited, PM devices store the accumulated consumption.
  On remote server: Depending on the Z-Wave controller

• It depends on the Z-Wave controller

Remote Server Access via API:

• It depends on the Z-Wave controller

• Resetting device via Service button erases all the settings and data

On Device Access

• Depending on the Z-Wave controller

Data deletion

Data stored on the connected product

• Resetting the device with the Service button (S button),

• Through the controller with the Command Class Meter - Meter Reset will erase the stored cumulative consumption,

• With the Command Class Configuration - Configuration Default Reset will reset all the settings (parameters) to the default values.

Data stored on the Shelly Cloud

Deletion of data about Devices added in the Shelly Cloud can be deleted via the functionalities of the Shelly Smart Control. The terms of use can be called/viewed at https://control.shelly.cloud/#/terms-and-conditions.

Deletion of Device data in the Shelly Cloud does not delete any data stored on the Device itself.

Quality of service

Locally with the direct access to the device the response is sub 100ms, all other responses depend on the gateway, network size and cloud.
