Shelly Pro 2PM Device Smart Control - Dual Cover Mode
Main Controls
Below the Main Controls heading, observe the the Shelly Device power consumption in Watts (W).
The close and open button are at the bottom of this tab. Click the close button to move the cover position down. Click the open button to move the cover position upward.
Notifications
If you have Shelly Device notifications, they will appear on this tab. View the number of notifications for this Shelly Device. Tap the X
button in the top right corner of the notification box if you wish to delete the notification.
Charts
Consumption
Observe a chart with the Shelly Device consumption displayed in Watt-hours (Wh). Above the consumption chart, you can select the time interval and the date from which you want data to be shown. Drag your finger/mouse across the chart to view time specific consumption measurements. Tap the blue icon to the right of the date interval, above the chart, and change the displayed chart style.
Below the consumption chart are a variety of Shelly Device measurements. Observe the Eco (compared) value that gives a percentage of how much lower the consumption value is, and the total consumption value in Watt-hours (Wh). Below these measurements, observe the average, maximum and minimum consumption in Watt-hours (Wh).
Tap on the expand icon in the top right corner of the Consumption rectangular box if you wish to view the chart in full screen. Tap Export .csv
to download this data as a CSV file.
Activity log
Observe the recorded history of the Shelly Device events. See the date, time and type of action executed such as the Device being switched On/Off.
Schedule
Click the Add schedule
button to create a schedule. Create a weekly schedule for the day(s) and time(s) you want the corresponding device to turn On/Off automatically. You may add up to 20 weekly schedules. This function requires a working connection to the Internet.
Choose Weekday: Select the mode as Simple or Advanced for selecting days of the week.
Simple: Choose Simple mode to select day(s) of the week.
Advanced: Switch to Advanced mode for more complex schedules.
Specific days: Click the toggle button to select specific days of the month. When inactive, this function applies to all days of the month. Set the active days of the month by clicking on the desired date(s). You may also select dates using the following buttons:

Input the dates "From" and "To" that you want to set as active dates, then click the

button to choose these dates.Click the
Clear
button to clear selected dates.
Specific months: Click the toggle button to select specific months. When inactive, this function applies to all months. Select the active months using the following buttons:

Click the

button.
Choose time interval: Select the mode as Simple or Advanced.
Simple: Choose Simple mode to select a specific time or intervals based on Sunrise/Sunset. Choose from Time, Sunrise / Sunset, and set the time for the previously selected day(s):
Time: Click up/down button, or type in a number, to set a time in hours and minutes.
Sunset / Sunrise: The Shelly device may turn on/off automatically at sunrise/sunset, or at a specified time Before/After Sunrise/Sunset. Select the time in hours and minutes from the dropdown menus.
Advanced: Choose Advanced mode for more complex schedules. Observe the selected times at which the schedule will be executed at the bottom of this page. Click the toggle button of the following to set them up: Hours / Minutes / Seconds. Set up each of these time units by clicking on the desired time in hours/minutes/seconds, or by clicking on the following buttons:

Local Action: Click the
+ Add local action
button to add up to 5 actions per schedule.Local Action: Select from three possible local actions from the dropdown menu:
Open Cover: Select this option to fully open the cover, and then select the target component from the dropdown menu.
Close Cover: Select this option to fully close the cover, and then select the target component from the dropdown menu.
Move Cover to specific position: Click and drag the slider to the desired cover position. A percentage of 0 % corresponds to a fully closed position, and 100 % corresponds to a fully opened position. Observe the selected percentage position below the slider bar.
Select target component: Select target component from the dropdown menu.
Click the
Save
button to save your schedule.
Once the schedule has been created, it will appear as a rectangular box on the main Schedule page for the Shelly Device. On this box, you can see the schedule details such as the days of the week, action and time. You can enable/disable a schedule by clicking the toggle button on the left of the schedule box. You can edit the schedule by clicking on the edit pencil icon on the right, and delete the schedule by clicking the trash icon on the right.
Actions
Use events to trigger http endpoints. You can add up to 20 actions. Click the Add action
to add and set up an action. Set up the following settings, and navigate between pages by clicking the NEXT
or BACK
buttons. Create an action:
Choose Component: Choose the cover component from the dropdown menu. Choose from the following options: Cover / input (0) / input (1) / input (2) / input (3).
Set Action Name: Type in action name.
Active Time: Click the checkbox to set the active time. You may leave as the 24-hour default option or choose an active start and end time. Click the up/down buttons, or type in a number, to set a time in hours and minutes.
When: Set up the condition which triggers the action. Select from a variety of conditions. The condition varies depending the previously chosen component for the action.
If Cover is chosen as the component, choose from the following conditions:
Cover stopped
Cover open
Cover closed
Cover opening
Cover closing
If input (0) / (1) / (2) / (3) is chosen as the component, choose from the following conditions:
Button is pushed
Button is long pushed
Button is double pushed
Button is triple pushed
Repeat When: Input the minimum interval, in seconds, between two consecutive invocations of the webhook. Any events that trigger the webhook within the specified time interval will be automatically supressed.
Actions: Input URL to send the Shelly Device a command. You may add up to 5 URLs per action, which will be executed one after the other. Click the
+ Add URL
button to add another URL to execute, or click the+ Add action from another device
to add an action from another device. If you choose to add an action from another device, set it as a Control Output / Toggle Output local action, and set the action as On/Off. You may also add a local action.Local action: Click the
+ Add local action
button to create a local action. Choose the local action from the dropdown menu, and then select target component from the dropdown. Choose the local action from the following options:Open Cover
Close Cover
Move Cover to specific position: If you select this option, click and drag the slider to set the target cover position. A percentage of 0 % corresponds to a fully closed position, and 100 % corresponds to a fully opened position. View the set percentage position below the slider bar.
Click the
Save
button to save the action / local action. Once the action has been created, click the trash icon to the right of it if you wish to delete it.
Click the
Save
button to save the action or to save any changes made.
This function requires a working connection to the Internet. Once the action has been created, it will appear as a rectangular box on the main Actions page for the Shelly Device. You can enable/disable an action by click the toggle button on the left of the action box. You can edit the action by clicking on the edit pencil icon on the right, and delete the action by clicking the trash icon on the right.
Scripts
Use the Scripts functionality to create or import scripts.
Library: Click the
Open Library
button to view existing scripts. Click on the desired script and click theInsert code
button to add the script to your Shelly Device.Create new script: Click the
Create new script
button. A new page will appear where you can name, create, edit and save your script. Click the play button to run your script. Click thex
button to exit the script. Click the trash icon to delete your script.
For an existing script, click the toggle button of the script you wish to enable. Click the play button of the script you wish to execute. Click the edit pencil icon to update the script, and the trash icon to delete it.
Virtual Components
Virtual components can be created and edited via the device’s Local Web Interface. Tap the provided IP link if you are connected to the same network as the Shelly Device.
Tap the Groups/Components sub tabs to display the groups or components.
Groups
Follow these steps to create a Group:
Tap on Create Group.
Enter the group Name.
Mark the checkbox of the virtual component you wish to add to the group, or tap Create virtual component to create a new one. Tap the toggle if you wish to extract the group as a device.
Tap Save.
Components
In this sub tab, you can turn components on/off or create a new virtual component.
Tap the power button to turn a virtual component on/off.
Tap Create virtual component to create a new virtual component.
Follow these steps to Create virtual component:
Choose the virtual component type from the dropdown menu. Choose from the following options.

Tap Next, and set up the virtual component type specific settings on the next page.
Tap Save to save the virtual component settings.
Networks
Wi-Fi
Register Shelly Device to connect to up to 2 different Wi-Fi networks. Either input or select the Wi-Fi network. Can select an open network, and also set a static IP address. Enable Wi-Fi 1, or Wi-Fi 2, or both at the same time. If both Wi-Fi 1 and Wi-Fi 2 are enabled, and Shelly Device disconnects from one of the networks, it will connect to the other. Click the Save
button to save any changes made. Click the Save
button to save any changes made.
Access Point
Click the checkbox to enable this function. Enable to configure Shelly Device to create a Wi-Fi Access Point (AP), to which you can connect. Observe the SSID. Set a password to protect your device’s access point to secure your network from unauthorized access. Click the checkbox to set the AP it to be an open network. Click the Save
button to save any changes made.
Range extender
Click the toggle button to enable range extender.
Ethernet
Enable to connect Shelly Device to an ethernet cable network. Click the checkbox to set a static IP address.
Outbound Websocket
Click the checkbox to enable SSL connectivity. See outbound websocket status as Connected or Disconnected. Select the type of SSL connectivity from the dropdown menu, and input the server address. Please note changing these settings requires a device reboot. Click the Save
button to save any changes made.
RPC over UDP
Input the destination address and port. Afterwards, input the listening port. Click the Save
button to save any changes made.
Cloud
Enable to connect Shelly Device to its cloud. This allows you to control it remotely, and receive notifications and updates about your devices. Click the toggle button to enable this function.
To disable the cloud connection, click the toggle button again. A confirmation prompt will appear. Click the Confirm
button if you're certain you want to disable the cloud connection for this device.
Bluetooth
Click the checkbox to enable Bluetooth. Click the toggle button to enable RPC and/or Bluetooth gateway.
MQTT
Click the checkbox to enable MQTT. Configure the Shelly Device to execute actions via MQTT. Please note changing the MQTT settings requires a device reboot.
Choose the connection type, choose from the following options:
RPC status notifications over MQTT
Generic status update over MQTT
SSL connectivity
Input the MQTT prefix, the desired server, and client ID.
Input the username and password.
Click the
Save
button to save any changes made.
Safety
Obstacle Detection
This feature allows your “cover” to stop or change direction if it encounters an obstacle while driving.
Click the checkbox to enable the obstacle detection functionality.
Moving Direction: Set the moving direction of the cover. Choose one from the following options: While opening / While closing / While moving.
Action: Set the action as Stop / Reverse. If Stop is chosen, the cover will stop moving at when an obstacle is detected. If Reverse is chosen, the cover will be reversed until the endpoint is reached.
Max power threshold: Input the max power threshold value.
Hold off time: Set the hold off time in seconds.
Click the
Save
button to save any changes made.
Safety Switch
This function works when the Input Type is set to Button or Switch. When the Control Button Mode is set to Single, the function only works when the Input Type is set to Button. Input 1 controls the cover movement, and input 2 acts as a safety switch. Set up this function works:
Click the checkbox to enable the Safety Switch functionality.
Moving Direction: Sets the direction which the cover is moving when interrupted by the safety switch. Choose one from the following options: While opening / While closing / While moving (in either direction).
Action: Set the action as Stop / Pause / Reverse.
Stop: If Stop is chosen, engaging the safety button will stop the cover movement until the safety switch is disengaged or until a command is sent by the physical button or the mobile application. If Reverse is chosen from under “Allowed move”, the movement is resumed in the opposite direction until the end position is reached.
Pause: If Pause is chosen, disengaging the safety switch is enough for the cover to move in the opposite direction if Reverse is selected (from under “Allowed move”).
Reverse: If Reverse is chosen, engaging the safety button will stop and immediately reverse the movement until the end position is reached. This option requires Reverse movement to be allowed under “Allowed move”.
Allowed Move: Set the allowed move as None / Reverse depending on the selected “Action”.
Click the

button to save any changes made.
Max Power Protection
Configure Shelly Device to turn off when power consumption reaches a set value in watts (W). Set the max power value between 0W and 4480W. Click the Save
button to save any changes made.
Max Voltage Protection
Configure Shelly Device to turn off when voltage reaches a set value in volts (V). Set the max voltage value between 0V and 280V. Click the Save
button to save any changes made.
Max Current Protection
Configure Shelly Device to turn off when the current reaches a set value in amperes (A). Set the max current value between 0A and 16A. Click the Save
button to save any changes made.
Undervoltage Protection
Input an under voltage protection value in volts. You may delete the value and save to reset to default value. Click the Save
button to save any changes made.
Undervoltage/Overvoltage auto recovery
Click the toggle button to enable auto recovery to the state before the over/under voltage happened.
Application Settings
Consumption Calculation
Click the toggle button to enable exclusion of device from total room/account consumption.
Pin lock
Click the toggle button to enable Pin lock for this Shelly Device.
Exclude From Activity Log
Click the toggle button to exclude this Shelly Device from the global activity log.
Device Notifications
Click the toggle button next to each of the following notification types to enable them:
Enable device problem email notifications
Enable device problem push notifications.
Enable offline email notifications.
Enable offline push notifications.
Enable over power email notifications.
Enable over power push notifications.
Enable overtemperature email notifications.
Enable overtemperature push notifications.
Share
Input an email and share control of the Device with another Shelly Smart Control user. The other user will only have access to the Main Controls, Notifications, Charts, and Application Settings tabs, and the Device Information on the Settings tab. The other user cannot see the other device tabs. View which email accounts this Shelly Device has been shared with, and click the delete button to the right of the email account you would like to delete. If a device has been shared with your account, view which account shared the device with you, and click the Remove from my account
button if you wish to delete it from your account.
Settings
Eco Mode
Click the toggle button to enable/disable Eco mode. Device will consume less energy and run at a lower temperature. Device will reboot if you disable/enable this function.
Input type
Set the input type as button or switch. Click the Save
button to save any changes made.
Ide Power Threshold
Input a value between 0 and 50W to set a threshold below which the motor is considered stopped. Click the Save
button to save any changes made.
Idle Confirm Period
Input a value between 0.25 and 2 ms by which to delay the time when changing directions. Click the Save
button to save any changes made.
Control Button Mode
As a cover controller Shelly Device can work in 3 modes: Single, Dual or Detached.
Single:
If the input is configured as a Button, each button press cycles Open-Stop-Close-Stop.
If the input is configured as a Switch, each switch toggle cycles Open-Stop-Close-Stop.
Dual:
If the inputs are configured as buttons:Pressing a button when the cover is static, moves the cover in the corresponding direction until the endpoint is reached.
Pressing the button for the same direction while the cover is moving, stops the cover.
Pressing the button for the opposite direction, while the cover is moving, reverses the cover movement until the endpoint is reached.
If the inputs are configured as switches in dual input mode:
Turning a switch on moves the cover in the corresponding direction until an endpoint is reached.
Turning the switch off stops the cover movement.
If both switches are turned on, Shelly Plus 2PM will respect the last engaged switch. Turning off the last engaged switch stops the cover movement, even if the other switch is still on. To move the cover in the opposite direction, the other switch has to be turned off and on again.
Detached:
In this mode, the Shelly Device can only be controlled wirelessly. Even if buttons or switches are connected to the Device, they will not be allowed to control the cover movement in detached mode.
Click the Save
button to save any changes made.
Reverse Directions
Click the toggle button to swap outputs. If the device outputs have been wired wrong, you can swap the outputs using this setting.
Swap inputs
Click the toggle button to swap inputs. If the device inputs have been wired wrong, you can swap them using this setting.
Calibration
Calibrate the cover position control. Ensure there are no obstacles in the way during the calibration. Press the Start calibration
button to start the calibration process.
Action On Power On
Set the action that Shelly Device will execute after power comes back on. Configure Shelly Device to open/close/stop when it has power. Click the Save
button to save any changes made.
Movement Time Limits
Limit the time for moving in a direction in seconds. Input values must be from 0.1 to 300. Setting this to a low value may affect calibration. Input the time limit for the cover While opening and While closing. Click the Save
button to save any changes made.
Device Name
Change the current device name. Click the toggle button to sync device name. This will reflect on the Shelly Device name in the application if the “Sync name” is enabled. The sync is only from the application to the device and not vice-versa. Click the Save
button to save any changes made.
Device Card Customization
You can customize both big and small parameter slots on your device’s card. After customization, changes apply everywhere that you see the device in the app. Click the Customize device card
button to customize device card.
Choose to customize the Big Parameter Slot or Small Parameter Slot.
Big Parameter Slot:
Choose the slot as one of the following: None / Action / Parameter.
If you choose the slot content as Parameter, select the parameter type from the dropdown menu.

Small Parameter Slot:
View the list of Selected Parameters and Additonal Parameters.
Click the add
+
button to add the Available Parameters. If you wish to remove a parameter, click the subtract-
button.Click the move button, and drag and drop the parameter to the desired position under Selected Parameters.

Click the
Save
button to save any changes made.
Firmware Version
Shows your current firmware version. Click the Check for update
button to see if a new firmware version is available. If a newer firmware version is available, you can update your Shelly device by clicking the Update
button.
Update Automatically
Click the toggle button to Enable auto update. Add a schedule to automatically check and update the Shelly device to the latest stable firmware version. Click on Edit schedule
button, which will direct you to the Schedule page for this Shelly Device. Click the edit pencil icon and follow these steps to edit the settings of the schedule:

Local Action: This action has already been set up to automatically check and update the Shelly device to the latest stable firmware version. Click the

Geo Location And Time Zone
Set your time zone and geo-location in one of three ways:
Select it manually by choosing your Time zone from the dropdown menu.
Select your location from the map by clicking
Select from map
button.Enable automatic detection by clicking the
Auto detect location
button.
Click the Save
button to save any changes made.
Device Reboot
Click the Reboot
button to reboot your Shelly Device.
Factory Reset
Reset your Shelly Device to its factory settings by clicking the Factory reset
button. This will disconnect the Shelly Device from your Wi-Fi network, and all associated users, including you, will be removed from this Device. All previously set data will be deleted.
Device Information
Here you can view the ID, IP and other settings of your device. Copy Device ID, Decimal ID, Device IP, and Device Type by clicking the copy icon to the right of each. Click the Delete
button if you wish to remove the Shelly Device from your account.
