Shelly Button 2 Device Smart Control

Main Controls

Across the top of this page, observe the Shelly Device battery as a percentage, and the date and time the Shelly Device was last active.

Notifications

If you have Shelly Device notifications, they will appear on this tab.

Activity log

Observe the recorded history of the Shelly Device events. See the date, time and type of action executed.

Actions

Use events to trigger http endpoints. Click the edit button of the webhook you wish to activate. Add up to 5 URLs per webhook, which will be executed one after the other. Click the save button once you have added your URLs. Once you have added URLs to execute, click the checkbox to the left of the webhook to enable it.

Add URLs to the following webhooks:

  • Short push

  • Long push

  • Double short push

  • Triple short push

This function requires a working connection to the Internet. Please note that more than two actions per webhook can affect the normal operation of the device depending on the network infrastructure and controlled devices.

Networks

Wi-Fi

Register Shelly Device to connect to up to 2 different Wi-Fi networks. Either input or select the Wi-Fi network. Can select an open network, and also set a static IP address. Enable Wi-Fi 1, or Wi-Fi 2, or both at the same time. If both Wi-Fi 1 and Wi-Fi 2 are enabled, and Shelly Device disconnects from one of the networks, it will connect to the other.

Access Point

Click the checkbox to enable this function. Enable to configure Shelly Device to create a Wi-Fi AP, to which you can connect. Observe the SSID. Set a password to protect your device’s access point to secure your network from unauthorized access.

Restrict Login

Click the checkbox to restrict the web interface of the Shelly Device with a Username and Password.

Cloud

Click the toggle button to connect the Shelly Device to the cloud. This allows you to control it remotely, and receive notifications and updates about your devices.

Application Settings

Exclude From Event Log

Click the checkbox to disable event log reports for this device.

Sync Name

Click the checkbox to keep the device name in sync with the name given in the app.

Share

Input an email and share control of the Device with another Shelly Cloud user. The other user will only have access to the Device's power button (on/off), and be able to see the Device Information. The other user cannot see the other device settings.

Settings

Long Push

Set a max time (between 800 - 2000 ms) to register as a long push in milliseconds.

Multi Push

Set a max time (between 200 - 2000 ms) between pushes to register as a multi push in milliseconds.

Remain Awake

Set a time (between 0 - 5) in seconds for the button to sleep after a button push.

LED Status Disable

Click the checkbox to enable/disable Wi-Fi status LED.

Firmware Update

Shows your current firmware version. If a newer version is available, you can update your Shelly device by clicking the Update button.

Geo Location And Time Zone

Set your time zone and geo-location in one of three ways:

  • Select it manually by choosing your Time zone from the dropdown menu.

  • Select your location from the map by clicking Select from map button.

  • Enable automatic detection by clicking the Auto detect location button.

Device Name

Set a name for your device.

Factory Reset

Reset your Shelly Device to its factory settings by clicking the Factory reset button. This will disconnect the Shelly Device from your Wi-Fi network, and all associated users, including you, will be removed from this Device. All previously set data will be deleted.

Device Reboot

Reboot your Shelly Device by clicking the Reboot button.

Device Information

Here you can view the Shelly Device ID, IP and other device settings.
