Main Controls
The power button ⏻
is at the bottom of this tab. Click the power button ⏻
to turn your device On/Off. Your device is on when there is a blue ring around the power button ⏻
, and is off when the ring is gray.
Activity log
Observe the recorded history of the Shelly Device events. See the date, time and type of action executed such as the Device being switched On/Off.
Actions
Use events to trigger http endpoints. You can add up to 20 web hooks. Set up the following settings, and navigate between pages by clicking the NEXT
or BACK
buttons. Create an action:
Set Action Name: Type in web hook name.
Active Time: May leave as the 24-hour default option or choose an active start and end time. Click the up/down buttons, or type in a number, to set a time in hours and minutes.
When: Select from a variety of conditions for the input.

Input off
Actions: Input URL to send the Shelly Device a command. You may add up to 5 URLs per action, which will be executed one after the other. Click the
Add
button to add another URL to execute, or click theAdd local action
button to configure a local action.Local action: Select Control Output / Toggle Output from the dropdown menu to set the type of local action. Select the target component from the dropdown menu. If the local action is set to Control Output, then set the action as On / Off, and click the checkbox to flip value after the set number of seconds.
Click the
SAVE
button to save the web hook or to save any changes made.
This function requires a working connection to the Internet. Once the web hook has been created, it will appear as a rectangular box on the main I/O actions page for the Shelly Device. You can enable/disable an action by click the checkbox to the left of the action box. You can edit the action by clicking on the edit pencil icon on the right, and delete the action by clicking the trash icon on the right.
Add-on sensors
Manage peripherals
Click the ADD PERIPHERAL
button to add an Add-on Peripheral. Please note after adding a peripheral, the Shelly Device will reboot. Select from one of the following Add-on Peripherals:
Temperature and Humidity (DHT22)
Temperature (DDS18B20)
Digital Input
Analog Input
Voltmeter
If you wish to delete an add-on peripheral, click the trash icon of the corresponding peripheral.
Sensor names
Name/rename the Temperature Sensor, Humidity Sensor, Digital Input, and the Analog Input sensor. Click the SAVE
button to save any changes made.
Temperature units
Select ºC/ºF to be the units shown for the temperature on the display and on the app. Click the Save
button to save any changes made.
Temperature offset
Set the humidity offset by inputting a value between -50 and 50. Click the Save
button to save any changes made.
Temperature threshold
Input a value in Celsius (ºC) for the threshold temperature change which will cause the Device to wake up and trigger a sensor data report. (Min: 0.5 ºC - Max: 5 ºC) Click the Save
button to save any changes made.
Humidity offset
Set the humidity offset by inputting a value between -50% and 50%. Click the Save
button to save any changes made.
Humidity threshold
Input a value for the threshold relative humidity change which will cause the Device to wake up and trigger a sensor data report. (Min: 1 % - Max: 20 %) Click the Save
button to save any changes made.
Analog Input threshold
Input a value for the analog input threshold between 1% to 50%. Click the SAVE
button to save any changes made.
Digital input settings
Enable/disable the invert input setting by clicking the checkbox. Enable/disable the factory reset from the digital input sensor by clicking the checkbox. Set the input type as Switch or Button. Select the digital input status from the dropdown menu: Basic / Door / Garage / Bell. Click the APPLY
button to apply any changes made.
Add-on actions
Set add-on actions by clicking the ADD TYPE_ACTION
:
Choose Peripheral: Select one from the following from the dropdown menu: Digital Input / Analog Input.
Set the Action Name: Type in the action name.
Active Time: Click the up/down button, or type in a number, to set a time in hours and minutes.
Create action: Select action to trigger the http endpoints from the dropdown menu. Choose from:

Button is long pushed
Button is double pushed
Active URLs: Input URL to send the Shelly Device a command. Added URLs Click one of the following buttons:
Add
: Click to add up to 5 URLs per web hook.Add local action
: Set the local action by choosing from the dropdown menu: Control Output or Toggle Output.Control Output: Set the Output State as On/Off. Enter a value in seconds after which the value will flip. Click the
Save
button to save any changes made.Toggle Output: Once the Toggle Output has been set, click the

button to save any changes made.
Scripts
Use the Scripts functionality to create or import scripts.
Library: Click the
Library
button to view existing scripts. Click on the desired script and click theInsert code
button to add the script to your Shelly Device.Create new script: Click the
Create new script
button. A new page will appear where you can name, create, edit and save your script. Click the play button to run your script. Click thex
button to exit the script. Click the trash icon to delete your script.
If there are any available, click the checkbox of the script you wish to enable. Click the edit button to update the script, and click the play button to execute the script.
Networks
Wi-Fi
Register Shelly Device to connect to up to 2 different Wi-Fi networks. Either input or select the Wi-Fi network. Can select an open network, and also set a static IP address. Enable Wi-Fi 1, or Wi-Fi 2, or both at the same time. If both Wi-Fi 1 and Wi-Fi 2 are enabled, and Shelly Device disconnects from one of the networks, it will connect to the other.
Access Point
Enable to configure Shelly Device to create a Wi-Fi AP and you can connect to its network. Can also set it to be an open network.
Range extender
Click the checkbox to enable range extender. Click the APPLY
button to save any changes made.
Outbound websocket
See outbound websocket status as Connected or Disconnected. Click the checkbox to enable SSL connectivity. Please note changing these settings requires a device reboot. Click the SAVE
button to save any changes made.
RPC over UDP
Input the destination address and port. Afterwards, input the listening port. Click the Save
button to save any changes made.
Cloud
Enable to connect Shelly Device to its cloud. This allows you to control it remotely, and receive tions and updates about your devices.
Bluetooth
Enable to allow Bluetooth communication. Enable Bluetooth gateway.
MQTT
Enable to configure Shelly Device to execute actions via MQTT.
Application Settings
Sync Name
Keep the device name in sync with the name given in the app.
Exclude From Activity Log
Click the checkbox to disable event log reports for this device.
Share
Input an email and share control of the Device with another Shelly Cloud user. The other user will only have access to the Device's power button (on/off), and be able to see the Device Information. The other user cannot see the other device settings.
Settings
Eco Mode
Click the toggle button to enable/disable Eco mode. Device will consume less energy and run at a lower temperature. Device will reboot if you disable/enable this function.
Input Settings
Select the input button/switch mode as a Button / Switch.
Invert Input
Click the toggle button to invert the input signal.
Firmware Version
Shows your current firmware version. If a newer version is available, you can update your Shelly device by clicking the Update
button.
Geo Location And Time Zone
Set your time zone and geo-location in one of three ways:
Select it manually by choosing your Time zone from the dropdown menu.
Select your location from the map by clicking

button.Enable automatic detection by clicking the
Auto detect location
button.
Device Reboot
Reboot your Shelly Device.
Factory Reset
Reset your Shelly Device to its factory settings by clicking the Factory reset
button. This will disconnect the Shelly Device from your Wi-Fi network, and all associated users, including you, will be removed from this Device. All previously set data will be deleted.
Device Information
Here you can view the Shelly Device ID, IP and other device settings.
