Shelly Plus H&T Device Smart Control

Main Controls

Below the Main Controls heading, observe the current room humidity and Shelly Device battery as a percentage.

Observe the room temperature chart at the bottom of this tab, which display the temperatures measured in the last 24 hours. Below the temperature chart is the current measured room temperature.

Charts

Temperature

Observe a chart with the room temperature. Above the temperature chart, you can select the time interval and the date from which you want data to be shown. Click on the expand icon in the top right corner of the Temperature rectangular box if you wish to view the chart in full screen.

Below the chart, observe the average, max, and min temperature values in specified time range. Below these values, you can click the Export CSV button to download the temperature data as a CSV file.

Humidity

Observe a chart with the room humidity. Above the humidity chart, you can select the time interval and the date from which you want data to be shown. Click on the expand icon in the top right corner of the Humidity rectangular box if you wish to view the chart in full screen.

Below the chart, observe the average, max, and min humidity values in the specified time range. Below these values, you can click the Export CSV button to download the temperature data as a CSV file.

Event log

Observe the recorded history of the Shelly Device events. See the date, time, and click the dropdown button to observe the room temperature in Celcius, room humidity as a percentage, and the Shelly Device battery as a percentage.

Sensor settings

Temperature units

Select ºC/ºF to be the units shown for the temperature on the display and on the app. Click the Save button to save any changes made.

Temperature offset

Set the humidity offset by inputting a value between -50 and 50. Click the Save button to save any changes made.

Humidity offset

Set the humidity offset by inputting a value between -50 and 50. Click the Save button to save any changes made.

Temperature Threshold

Input a value for the threshold temperature change which will cause the Device to wake up and trigger a sensor data report. (Min: 0.5 - Max: 5) Click the Save button to save any changes made.

Humidity Threshold

Input a value for the threshold relative humidity change which will cause the Device to wake up and trigger a sensor data report. (Min: 1 % - Max: 20 %) Click the Save button to save any changes made.

Actions

Use events to trigger http endpoints. You can add up to 20 web hooks. Set up the following settings, and navigate between pages by clicking the NEXT or BACK buttons. Create a web hook:

  • Set Action Name: Type in action name.

  • Active Time: May leave as the 24-hour default option or choose an active start and end time. Click the up/down buttons, or type in a number, to set a time in hours and minutes.

  • When: Select from two conditions.

    • Temperature change: Select the Condition from the dropdown menu: Any / less than / greater than. If less than / greater than is chosen as a condition, input the temperature value.

    • Humidity change: Select the Condition from the dropdown menu: Any / less than / greater than. If less than / greater than is chosen as a condition, input the humidity value.

  • Then Do: Input URLs to send the Shelly Device a command. You may add up to 5 URLs per action, which will be executed one after the other. Click the Add button to add another URL, or click the trash icon of the corresponding trash icon to delete it.

  • Click the SAVE button to save the web hook or to save any changes made.

This function requires a working connection to the Internet. Once the acti has been created, it will appear as a rectangular box on the main I/O actions page for the Shelly Device. You can enable/disable a schedule by clicking the checkbox to the left of the schedule box. You can edit the schedule by clicking on the edit pencil icon on the right, and delete the schedule by clicking the trash icon on the right.

Networks

Wi-Fi

Register Shelly Device to connect to up to 2 different Wi-Fi networks. Either input or select the Wi-Fi network. Can select an open network, and also set a static IP address. Enable Wi-Fi 1, or Wi-Fi 2, or both at the same time. If both Wi-Fi 1 and Wi-Fi 2 are enabled, and Shelly Device disconnects from one of the networks, it will connect to the other.

Access Point

Enable to configure Shelly Device to create a Wi-Fi AP and you can connect to its network. Can also set it to be an open network.

Outbound websocket

See outbound websocket status as Connected or Disconnected. Click the checkbox to enable SSL connectivity. Please note changing these settings requires a device reboot. Click the SAVE button to save any changes made.

RPC over UDP

Input the destination address and port. Afterwards, input the listening port. Click the Save button to save any changes made.

Cloud

Enable to connect Shelly Device to its cloud. This allows you to control it remotely, and receive notifications and updates about your devices.

Bluetooth

Enable to allow Bluetooth communication. Enable Bluetooth gateway.

MQTT

Enable to configure Shelly Device to execute actions via MQTT.

Application Settings

Sync Name

Keep the device name in sync with the name given in the app.

Exclude From Event Log

Do not show event log reports for this device in the app.

Share

Input an email and share control of the Device with another Shelly Cloud user. The other user will only have access to the Device's power button (on/off), and be able to see the Device Information. The other user cannot see the other device settings.

Settings

Device Name

Set a name for your device.

Firmware Version

Shows your current firmware version. If a newer version is available, you can update your Shelly device by clicking the Update button.

Geo Location And Time Zone

Set your time zone and geo-location in one of three ways:

  • Select it manually by choosing your Time zone from the dropdown menu.

  • Select your location from the map by clicking Select from map button.

  • Enable automatic detection by clicking the Auto detect location button.

Device Reboot

Reboot your Shelly Device.

Factory Reset

Reset your Shelly Device to its factory settings by clicking the Factory reset button. This will disconnect the Shelly Device from your Wi-Fi network, and all associated users, including you, will be removed from this Device. All previously set data will be deleted.

Device Information

Here you can view the Shelly Device ID, IP and other device settings.
